It is not a toner, nor a mist or a serum. Facial essences are products that are widely used in Korean beauty rituals. In fact, for Asian women, incorporating this step into their beauty ritual is as important as good cleansing. It is common to confuse essence with toner, or even with serum. Why? Because it has the ability to rebalance the skin's pH after cleansing (like a toner) and the texture is a little denser than a toner (but not quite like a serum). What's in it?

This essence is made with extracts of peony, ginger, green tea and chamomile infused with rose and witch hazel hydrolates. This allows them to penetrate the deepest layers of the skin, activating natural, restorative and antioxidant processes.

Peonyflorin, present in peony, is a powerful antioxidant, soothing and anti-inflammatory that activates circulation, while ginger improves skin tone, thanks to a light and gentle exfoliating action. It contains black cumin oil, very rich in thymoquine, a natural antiseptic with anti-inflammatory and restorative properties, which strengthens tissues and minimizes the sensitivity of irritated and damaged skin.

Tips for use:

After facial cleansing, the essence prepares your skin to effectively receive the nutrients from serums, creams or oils, enhancing their effect and absorption. The result is hydrated, juicy and illuminated skin.

It is applied after the toner and before the serum, but you can always use it instead of the toner.

Contains essential oils of lavender, rosemary, sweet orange and geranium suitable for sensitive skin, which help to minimise the appearance of pores and which, together with hydrolates, give it its special natural aroma.
