Jane Apothecary: organic waterless cosmetics
We have started November with many new things; among them Jane Apothcary . A new brand has joined our catalog. After trying their famous soothing cleansing balm for 3 months, we have decided to add this brand to our catalog. Although we recognize that from the first day we tried it we already knew that it was going to be part of theCosmethics.
About Jane Apothecary...
Jane Apothecary is a Spanish natural cosmetics company founded and created by Elena Padilla, biologist and University Expert in Cosmetics and Dermopharmacy.
How did Jane Apothecary come about?
When Elena turned 30, she went through a period of stress and redness and acne began to appear on her skin. This change in his skin was the trigger for him to worry about eliminating acne similar to the one he had when he was 16 years old.
A trip became an opportunity to discover the benefits of vegetable oils on her skin. This discovery led Elena to explore natural cosmetics and to test and experiment with plants to treat and heal the skin.
Elena Padilla realized that she was not the only person with these problems; stress, acne, redness... Complicated but not impossible skin. You just had to find the key.
Thus Jane Apothecary was born. Its purpose is to care for and soothe the skin of women over 30 years old who want to have healthy, beautiful skin and who seek the solution in natural cosmetics without giving up deeper care to prevent skin aging.
Jane Apothecary products are handcrafted, in small batches, and are 100% natural…made with care and love.

Do you know who Jane was?
Jane Apothecary is a tribute to Jane Golden (1724-1766), the first female botanist to learn Linnaeus' system of plant classification in the 18th century. In his book Botanical Manuscript, he identified more than 300 specifications of the flora of New York, through beautiful illustrations.
