Semi-permanent manicure: our opinion

We have tried it , in fact we have been users of the Manucurist Green Flash semi-permanent manicure kit for months . What does this kit consist of? This kit offers all the necessary products to give yourself a natural semi-permanent manicure without leaving home and in a simple way, as if you were using conventional nail polish. The kit includes:

  • A nail base (Base Coat 15ml)
  • The Top Coat 15 ml,
  • A 100 ml nail polish remover
  • The 18W Nomad LED lamp

In addition to the savings you get by opting for this kit, the best gift is the moment it offers you and your nails.

You're probably wondering: what about nail polish? Well, in my case I chose the complete Green Flash semi-permanent manicure kit with Poppy Red , a very bright and cheerful color for these spring days. However, there are kits with other colors such as, for example, the Complete Green Flash Semi-Permanent Manicure Kit with Dark Pansy , which is a slightly darker color, or the Complete Green Flash Semi-Permanent Manicure Kit with Hortencia , with a darker color. discreet and elegant. If you like other colors you can simply choose the one you like the most among all the variety that Manucurist has to incorporate it into your manicure.

"The first impressions you get when you see this product are: lightness and comfort."

Lightness because the set of products weighs very little, so you can transport it anywhere since it does not take up much space either. For example, I have carried it in my cabin suitcase from Lugo to Santiago de Compostela. I was able to put clothes, food, my toiletry bag and the Green Flash kit, and it didn't give me any problems. It arrived safely! The second impression is the comfort that the kit transmits when seeing, in the first instance, that white LED lamp, small and with only two buttons (one for 30 seconds and another for 60 seconds to mark the time). For many people who do not want to complicate their lives, it is a relief to see these types of elements that are easy to use and come with all the necessary accessories.

After fiddling around with the entire kit and looking up and down everything in it, I couldn't resist trying it out right away. For many it is an illusion to be able to do semi-permanent hair at home, and for me it was not going to be any less so I got to work. The main objective of this kit is to be able to give yourself a natural semi-permanent manicure wherever you are, in a time of 20-25 minutes and that lasts approximately ten days, being able to remove it sooner with the nail polish remover that it includes . It is important that you do not mix Green nail polishes with Green Flash nail polishes as each one contains a unique formula with different ingredients. In the case of Green Flash nail polishes, the most characteristic thing is that they always need the LED lamp and are made with up to 84% ingredients of natural origin, being vegan and cruelty free, that is, they are not tested on animals. . In addition, they do not use ingredients that can damage your nails.

To perform a semi-permanent manicure, I advise you to do the following:

  • Organize all the inventory, that is, plug in the LED lamp to have it ready and place the base, nail polish, Top Coat and nail polish remover to have it within reach.
  • Clean your nails well. In my case, I used the nail polish remover included in the kit, which is the one they recommend.
  • Apply a thin layer of Green Flash base and place your nails under the LED lamp for two minutes to dry.
  • After this time, apply a layer of the nail polish you chose and, again, another two minutes under the LED lamp.
  • Repeat this last step one more time so that the color shows well.
  • Finally, and to give your nails a special shine, apply a layer of Green Flash Top Coat and leave the nails in the LED lamp for 3 minutes so that the entire manicure is well fixed.

Ready! You now have your semi-permanent manicure.

The process to remove the polish is also very simple. I used a reusable disc (which can also be made of cotton) and the nail polish remover from the kit, and all you have to do is soak the disc with nail polish remover and place it on the nail for two minutes. Then clean the nail carefully until all the polish is removed and it looks like new.

One piece of advice that I give you so that you do not make the same mistake as me is that you first do the manicure on the index, middle, ring and little fingers , since the thumb would not fit into the LED lamp and, therefore, you have to make apart. As for the rest, I didn't have any problems. It is very easy to use and the manicure holds up quite well, says a person who lives alone and has a lot of tasks and jobs that require the use of his hands behind him. In fact, they lasted me for about twelve days! More than what they say in the product description. Therefore, I 100% recommend this complete Green Flash semi-permanent manicure kit so you can do your nails whenever and wherever you want, without having to depend on anyone. It is a very practical alternative and, as I said at the beginning, it gives you a moment for yourself and your nails, which is very good and healthy for your health.
